Attacks on Ahlus sunnah

There has been a series of attacks on some of the scholars of ahlus sunnah in Nigeria. The latest ones were made on a student (Abu Ibeji) and his teacher (Shaykh Jabata)

Abu Aaishah Rosheed Mustopha as-Salafi (Abu Ibeji) was arrested by the men of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) from Oshogbo (Osun State capital) last Sunday May 24, 2015. The arrest was made after he finished his magazine lecture.

Abu Ibeji’s arrest was not unconnected with the refutations he made on one Dr. Sirajudeen Al-Asra’ ibn Bilal. Dr. Siraj who was a graduate of one the noble Jami’ah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, accused of assassination (refutations of innovators are being seen as assassination).

May Allaah hasten the release of Abu Ibeji.

Abu AbdirRahmaan Muhammad Aliyy Jabata was almost attacked today (Tuesday, May 26, 2015) at the radio station in Offa where he normally gives lectures. Alhamdulillaah, it was the quick intervention of the Boss of the radio station who called the security agency that Allaah used to prevent the attack.

They (the disbelievers, the Jews and the Christians) want to extinguish Allâh’s Light (with which Muhammad (Sallallaahu alaihi wa Sallam) has been sent – Islâmic Monotheism) with their mouths, but Allâh will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the Kâfirûn (disbelievers) hate (it).(At-Tawbah 9:32)

It is He Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad Sallallaahu alaihi wa Sallam ) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islâm), to make it superior over all religions even though the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) hate (it).(At-Tawbah 9:33)

  1. Abu Ibeji was released yesterday evening, alhamdulillaah. His teacher AbdirRahmaan Muhammad Aliyy Jabata also escaped the ambush at Offa.

Dr. Siraj is claiming a sum two million naira (N 20m) for “character assassination”.
